Xjenza Malta would like to announce that it is now receiving applications for the Space Research Fund 2023. Application deadline is 29th of May 11.59pm The Space Research Fund continues to provide financial support for research, development and innovation in the downstream Satellite Earth Observation (EO) sector, specifically projects that deal with the processing and exploitation of data collected through EO satellites. . Schemes

Overview

The Parliamentary Secretariat for Youth, Research and Innovation within the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation (MEYR) is pleased to launch a scheme to promote innovation projects within the Maltese society.

The objective of this scheme is to financially support Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and Voluntary Organisations (VOs) to carry out projects related to innovation in the community. Proposals which are STEM related helping the community will be given priority.

What you’ll get

The grant will cover 80% of the project costs (up to a maximum of €8,000 per project).

Eligible costs may include:

  • Costs of materials
  • Costs of equipment and tools
  • Costs for procurement of technical and administrative services
  • Costs for HR required in the acquisition of new knowledge, skills, competences and other innovative processes.
  • Costs for acquisition of educational & learning material.
  • Costs for travelling abroad, up to 25 % of the total sum granted.

  • Registered Voluntary Organisations
  • Registered Non-Governmental Organisations
